For me, its not love. Its just friendship, having fun, flirting. They still chat with each other for that long time because they feel happy chatting with each other. That's all. There's no love there.

They are online friends...they may love what they think they know about one another, but even after 6 yrs of communicating, there is just too much you cannot know about someone without spending time in their presence, looking them in the eye.
Too often, when people like this meet, they find they aren't a good match after all...one or both may find the other person is nothing like they'd imagined (either due to lies or because they had built the other person up in their head to be something they were not).
Sounds like a waste of 6 yrs of life to me, if they weren't seeing other people offline during this time...but if neither of them wants a real relationship, then this gives them someone to talk to and lean on and share intimate feelings with, without having the responsibility of an actual face-to-face relationship.

I'd say its love. 6 years is no joke. As long as you know he is being truthful about himself & so are you, I would definately call it lovers. Friends most definately dont have phone sex. If you personally love him, and he is the only manin your life, he is your lover. The question is, are you his?

they are nothing like what you said might be. I mean if they were lvers they wouldn't do it through the line &if they were friends also they wouldn't do it without seeing each other. What they r doing is totally abnormally.
