The goths are the outlandish tribes that live on the opposite shores of the channel, they try to come over on their boats, but find they cannot dock because of great white cliffs given to us by AEÞburt, we fire arrows aflame from the tops of the south forelands, and throw down trees from the great elm forests onto their ships. they try to conquer the Cantiaci, as they have with the other tribes on the mainland but they are yet to get onto the island yet, with the help of the Regnenses and perhaps the blue faced ones who live north of the Great Thames, we can beat the Goths, i am not sure of what thou meanst by emo, by the descriptions i have heard, they sound similar to our warriors, jet black hair, the bluest eyes and fair skin, they must cut their arms after battle if they have not shed blood during battle, a very noble people, the emos will prevail against the barbarian Goths!!

A Goth is by tradition is a person who wears clothing in a flamboyant yet dark manner, listens to assorted types of metal, and who's religious practice can range from Wiccian, Agnostic, to Satanic or maybe just plain old Athiest. Largely they do things to seperate themselves from a "crowd," and being non-conformist is a mantra in life.
An Emo is more of a combonation of a Punk Rocker and a "Prep." They dress somewhat normally (by traditional society's standards), but may have lots of additions to outfits such as buttons, patches, spikes in the same manner as a Goth but less intense. They get the Emo name from their music, which is music in the vein of Pop/Punk but talks about things like love frequently. Their Religious beliefs are unlimited.

I really think the only difference is emo has more color and isn't dressed in all black. I really am not sure, my daughter claims to be "emo". Whatever the crap that means. She doesn't have black painted fingernails or dress in all black (I wouldn't let her). I am curious too as to what the difference really is. I know that she listens to a bunch of music that is weird (to me). Like the Veronicas and men hating, men bashing music. She has her reasons and I do understand them but don't totally agree with them.
