Oooooeeee....hun....that's one helluva a strain on the old ticker. You can try every diet known to man (and woman) but it has to be coupled with excercise. This doesn't mean you have to pedal a bike like you're in one of those silly French races that wind through villages or run a marathon. Walking briskly will do. Walking, leg lifts and sit ups should help you drop the pounds.
Its the caloric intake too. Eating after meals and having seconds has to end. I know it's tough. Its really an addiction but you are aware of how you look and how you feel so I believe that is half the battle.
Look into a diet that won't starve you. I know there are plenty that afford you a decent intake, plenty of fruits and vegtables and steer clear of those cookies, chips and salted nuts.
My downfall is beer. Good Lord THAT can pack some pounds on.
So...take it slow because you won't lose it overnight. You'll start dropping and suddenly you'll hit that plateau where it seems nothing is happening. Keep going....it's your metabolisim adjusting. Then start to pick up the pace or length during your walks. Increase the sit ups 5 more every 2 weeks.
You'll be back in that thong in no time!

What does your husband say about your weight gain ?? Surely he would be a lot happier if you lost the weight again ?? You are comfort eating which is a bad thing because every time you get upset or worried about something you will eat. Believe me l know how hard it can be to loose weight but you must try for yourself. It can be very bad for your health and well being. Also what if you want to have a baby, it could also jeopardise your chances of becoming pregnant. I wish you lots of luck in regaining your figure.

Start slow...cut something "bad" out of your diet. For example, I cut off soda. At first I told myself it was for 2 wks. And it became such a competition with myself to see if I could do it that I now have not had any regular soda in 7 months!
So pick something and eliminate it from your diet.
Then start to get active. Walk around your neighborhood. Or join your local gym. Don't push yourself too hard at first, or you may just "overload" and drop it altogether.
Once you see the first few pounds come off, you will be motivated to push yourself further in terms of your diet and exercise.
Keep a journal and write EVERYTHING you eat in it...that way you can see where you might need to cut back on things. Everything in moderation.
Good luck!!

Well it depends on how your husband is toward you gaining this weight. He married you through thick and thin. He is suppose to love you no matter what and try to help you. If the 50 lbs bother you then yes take it off but do not do it for you husband because you will probably fail you need to do it for yourself.

Weight Watchers is the best program I have been in. I really have tried about every diet there is around.
You have to really want to do it - it is possible
WW is not a diet - it is a new outlook on how to eat and what to eat - I lost 60 lbs in just about 1 year and I have now maintained my weight for 8 months
