Windows movie maker help?

I am right now doing a project and i want to use the movie maker for the project.The problem is i am a bit new to movie maker .Is it possible to use it to do a project like we do in power point(typing,design templates,inserting related pictures etc).i know how to insert effects and all but iam not able to type on my picture which i would like to use as a background.Pls can some one provide me some instructions . And tutorials on the above ground is also appreciated. PPls help me. And is it possible to create such projects. i wanna do a project on physics.would it be a good choice or can i just use powerpoint. Pls provide ur views and ur guidance. thanx in advance

if you click on the link that says edit movie, then go to make titles or credits, you can add your text there, and such. when you click on make titles or credits, it will open up a new screen then you will want to select add a title on the selected clip. then the rest is the same as finishing up other areas as such as after you put in a new clip.
