So, the Cd is now in my itunes library.. if i go to restore it says that all my songs on my ipod will be erased. any ideas how to get them on the ipod? I want these beats for the wkend! Cheers!

You need to get a CD burner

Once the songs are all loaded on itunes you just have to drag and drop the music from itunes to the icon of your ipod that is on the left hand side of the computer screen.

Highlight the music you want in itunes, and drag it across to the ipod logo featured on the left handside.

The restore function is only used when you have problems with your ipod.

Plug your ipod in and then click update. it should automatically add the cd but if not you'll have to manually do it by clicking update. the button right above restore.

click 'sync library' or just drag and drop the specific songs you want from you library onto you ipod icon in itunes

Don't restore it 'Sync' it and then your songs will go on to your ipod

Select "import songs" and then "synchronize iPod" that should update your song list.

If you plug it in to the usb port it should update your ipod for you.
