If you are worried that you are doing something bad or dirty or dangerous or the like....Don't worry.. there ARE 'old world' wive's tales still around, but, honestly, nothing bad will happen to you OR to your husband. Not even an unwanted pregnancy has much of a chance.
If you or your husband have no problem having sex while you have menstrual discharge, there is nothing wrong with that either.. YOU decide.
You might want to have extra protection for your bedding, like a good thick ragtowel over some plastic protective sheeting if you dont want to risk staining anything.
Some women have mentioned that, immediately after sex, menstrual cramps seem less and a few say the opposite but it is very relative and absolutely not harmful. There may be no difference whatsoever in how you feel OR you may even enjoy sex more at this time.
Otherwise.. no problem whatsoever. Do as you please!

It may relieve your menstrual cramps.
P.S. use a soaker pad and save the sheets from stains.
