There is not really a cure, as "being gay" is not a disease but a sexual preference. Just like other men like older ladies, or young girls. There is nothing wrong with being gay, although I understand how incredibly tough it must be to find out you are gay in a country where you can be stoned to death for it.
I think that one option you would have is to develop the bi-sexual side that we all have, to some degree. Even then, this is going to be hard for you.
Good luck, man !

I am gay and learned it is a choice, sometimes it is a choice a small child makes then forgets making the choice, often innoscently even, and then the child often believes it was born gay.
There is also gender nonconformity, and many children with this think they was born gay, but it is a seperate issue. Gender nonconformity is when a child often appears to have characteristics that are considered the opposite genders characteristics. It is a debate if hormones or something cause a child to be born with a gender nonconformity or if it is learned. Because some children do learn characteristics and adopt them and have characteristics that should be of the opposite gender. I say some people are born with a gender non conformity while others can learn characteristics that make them have a gender nonconformity.
Being gay is a choice. And our mind accepts the choice and we continue to grow with that innoscent choice some had made as a small child and when they get older, even if they find the opposite gender attractive, still have some form of an attraction to the same gender that comes from a long forgotten innoscent choice often made as a child.
I believe once you realize that you may have made the choice when you was 3 or 4 and then forgot about it, and the choice could have been innoscent or not, but as you grew older this surfaced in your subconcious. So see it as it is and you could overcome the urges to be attracted to the same gender. I think it would be much easier for a younger person than an adult, to deal with the fact it was a choice made and they brainwashed themselves over the years that it is almost impossable for change.

Yes, if you look within yourself for answers as to how you could not be, and detach from those feelings and not hold onto them emotionally. Don't do repression or self harm or drugs to do it, and try not to have a homophobic view about it, you don't need to be homophobic and think gay is not ok for you, you can think gay actions are wrong, but not hate those who do it. Then when your ready date a woman don't runw hen the urge to run comes, learn to love her in time and go slow and steady, focus on her as a person not her body, you may love her more and more as you take your time, won't be a drive through. One day you will look at her and say she's beautiful after marriage and children. I'm working on this part of who I am too. Have sex with some women too, it's not impossible, just walk her through what feels good for you, and do the same when you find a wife. Soon you will think of your wife and get sexually excited for her, and she may be the only woman you find attractice, you may at times want to fun and have sex with a man, but you will still love and desire her, and find staying is worth it. It's about the person. Pray to yourself and on what to do and wait for answers, it is hard. It is not praying to a god or listening to harmful doctrine, you may get hate for not acting on your gay urges by some societies and will be called homophobic. If you could love one woman and take of one wouldn't it be great, especially thinking of her as a bestfriend not simply a wife, a gay man is the best partner for a woman, it's not about sex.

In my country, and most of the civilized world, homosexuality cannot be cured because it is not considered a disease.
You're right, it's not a choice to be gay. It is, however, your choice to continue hating yourself.

You have to accept that you are who you are. You cannot change your inborn sexual orientation, just like you cannot naturally change your eye color or skin color. You must accept they way you are - perhaps even come to like it.
p.s. I think ESTER has picked an appropriate name, since an ester is a chemical that smells, just like her 'logic.'

Pay attention to facts, not your feelings. A life well lived will be based upon truth. Not feeling.
