I was just about to ask the same thing. Thought I did something funky to my computer. Whew, after all the computer problems I've had this week, I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this!
Edit: Nah, I'm not going to disconnect my internet. If it's a yahoo-based problem that wouldn't help anyway. That, and I'm on cable. Waiting for my modem to get it's signal back is a bigger pain than dealing with these symbols, lol.
