Personally I think that performing arts are going to be the next big thing- look at all the reality tv shows. The uk has always been good for music, theatre, dance etc and it is a big part of our industry. Whether he wants to perform himself, or maybe get involved in other sides of it such as teaching or production, this would be a good start. Btech is well recognised like a-levels with employers and he could do a further course at uni afterwards. If he enjoys it too, then even better.
