f(x) = 2x(x + 2) (3x - 4)^3

I'm not sure what you're asking, so all I can do is take a total guess.

Are you asking for the x-intercepts? If so, all you have to do is equate f(x) to 0, getting:

0 = 2x(x + 2) (3x - 4)^3

This yields the following three equations:

2x = 0
x + 2 = 0
3x - 4 = 0

Which will give you

x = {0, -2, 4/3}
