Well, intelligent people will remember him a lot differently than you anti-Bush zombie morons.

He's not a great president, but far from the worst. All this bitching and moaning about how terrible it's all been is irrationality at its most fevered pitch.

You people need psychotropic medications.

Political rhetoric never survives the test of time. Unless Bush is investigated and found guilty of lying then it will not even be a footnote. I know that emotionally people always think that because they believe something everyone will remember it the same way, but it never happens this way. The best example is still Abraham Lincoln. The man was absolutely despised by many in his time, but we now remember him as one of the greatest presidents ever. If you want an honest answer, George Bush will be remembered primarily for being President when 911 happened. No matter how much his many detractors may wish that it will be otherwise.

Ah! The perils of democracy. Indeed it is possible to elect a moron if you have a good propaganda machine and plenty of cash. Sadly the whole world is suffering. GWB will be remembered as the go-fer for Cheney and the neocons. Do not blame him for he does NOT know what is going on. He is ignorant and what's more disturbing he has chosen to remain such, despite all the oppotunities he had.

He will be remembered as the President who took the bull by the horns and stepped up to the plate and lead this country. Not the great communicator but the great ignorer of political polls. He will be remembered as just and rightous. An American patriot that single handily looked the entire world in the eyes and said," NO MORE! NOT ON MY WATCH!".

I hope that in 60 years people can look back and think, "haha what an idiot doing all that" rather than looking back and thinking that it was a tragic situation that consumed our country for decades.
