Is it still possible to rent a cheap room by the week at the YMCA in Denver?

I'm just looking for a cheap place to stay in Denver. Seedy is OK! I know there are miles of motels out on Colfax. Any advice?

I'm not sure about the Y since the building downtown was purchased a few years ago - I think they converted it to low-cost (but longterm) housing.

If "seedy" works for you, then check out these three hostels in Denver. Very cheap rates, and two the places don't have bad reviewes. Great location too! Bon voyage!
