The Dems passed a pay raise for all the U.S. and it's territories, EXCEPT Somalia. Somalia's biggest employers are tuna fish. It just so happens this tuna is Star Kist and distributed by DelMonte which happens to be located in Pelosi's district of San Francisco.
Just more hypocrisy.

Somalia is a territory of the U.S. and all other territories surrounding it are included in the raise hike. Keep abreast of the news and check your history. Too many good answers to this questions seems like a misinformed public. Most of our tuna comes from Somalia.

I hate to defend Pelosi, in any way, but Somalia isn't a U.S. territory, as you mentioned! But as far as hypocrisy with the Dems, yes, your absolutely right.

WHAT are you talking about Somaila? That is am independent country in Africa that has nothing to do with US Federal labor laws. Also, San Fran is in the US the last time I checked, and those labor laws of a higher min wage would OBVIOUSLY apply. I think California already has a higher min wage than the federal 5.15, so check your figures, you are wrong. PLUS, I think most tuna fish is imported from southeast asia like thailand or something. Nice try
