I am turning in a final paper for college and I am trying to avoid plagiarism. Can someone give me an example of how to cite this paraphrase in text and how to include it on my reference page?

My paraphrase: During the 1800's, nursing was identified as a popular employment opportunity for women who were beginning to be accepted outside of traditional home-based roles (Cummings, 1995). Cummings notes that men were often rfused admission to nursing schools; they were allowed admission to only 68 of the
1,300 nursing schools in 1941 (Cummings, 1995).

That is good; but if you are writing it word for word, use quotation marks.

Is that MLA style? It looks OK as is. One citation per graph should cover you. Then follow up with a "Sources Sited" page in biblio.
