I am getting married soon, and planning to insert my husband's surname to mine. Which would mean both my Chinese and English name will since bear his surname too. Anyone knows if that could affect the name dynamics, in terms of the original energies that the name carries?

Both of us have done name analysis and home fengshui. Our names are flowing with good energies, except now that I am including my husband's surname, which I wonder if it would affect the good energy.

If it is unbearable for you to carry that name, then you will not use it. Generally the answer is no, though. What you could do, though, that will help significantly your new life is to hire a professional perform your husband's and your personal feng shui, in order to allow positive energy to flow not only through your house but also through your lives and marriage.
