i was just looking on the website of a company my friend works for and her name is not on the staff list... also they are advertising for a new position. She hasn't told me that shes left or had to leave but it makes me suspicious, she said she was getting on well there. Any ideas?

i'm not on my staff list, sometimes these things would take a while and there would be nothing wrong with us looking for new staff, i think dont be so nosy, why look on the list in the first place?

Just ask her whats up, if she has been fired then you can always help her look for another job or something and you will b there for her. Or maybe they could have just been a mistake on the site, but shes your friend so just ask. xx

Does not really have anything to do with you does it? Perhaps she is embarrassed. Wait until she tells you. However, if she knows that you do things like'checking up' on friends she is not likely to confide in you is she?

Telephone the office and ask to speak to her? You get through to her and invite her for a coffee. Or they say she doen't work there.

Either way you get the answer!

It sure sounds like it. She may be embarrassed right now and not want to talk about it yet - just give her time and wait...she'll come to you when she's ready.

maybe she is new and not officialy on the site yet. The other answeer would be that they replaced her or are going to replace her.
