To become a doctor, you need to get your bachelor's degree first. Then you go on to med school.

Which college you go to doesn't matter, altho it's best to go to the best one you can. What matters is getting good grades in the required courses for med school.

Obviously, Univ of Michigan is the best school in Michigan, but again, it's your grades and MCAT score that will matter the most. Not what school you go to.

Major doesn't matter either. As long as you've taken the required courses, med schools don't care what your major is. A non-science major makes you stick out a little more, but it's usually easier to get into the required science courses if you have a science major.
