With my last two pregnancies, my first sign of pregnancy was morning sickness that started on the day of implantation.
Good luck.

apparently the time it takes to experience symtoms is approximately between 7-10 days after you conceive...thats why a lot of women have symtoms of pregnancy before they even miss a period. Most Midwifes etc will say that morning sickness starts when you are about 6 weeks pregnant but its different for all women. Other early symptoms to look out for are
Sore/tender breast ( I know you can get this before you are due on anyway but you are supposed to be able to tell the difference of whether its pregnancy or due on stuff by whether your breast have increased(swollen)in size.
Need to urinate more frequently
Moodyness/emotional
Tiredness etc. Goodluck to your friend!!

I know women who have had sickness from the day after conception! I started getting symptoms less than 2 weeks after conception - sore boobs, sickness.

The most commonn symptom is a missed period other than that there are no guarantees. I was extremely lucky and didn't have any sickness or symptoms at all. But every woman is different.

My earliest symptom was cramping. I still get it & I am 13 weeks along. What it is my uterus stretching. One of my other symptoms was breast tenderness. I have yet to get morning sickness.

it depends on the person. sometimes people are sick from day 1 to delivery.others dont suffer from morning sickness at all.having said that its usually from 6 weeks to whenever.
If your friend is suffering from morning sickness she should try ginger or plain biscuits, dry toast
