Who else can own responsibility. Sehwag, Kumble, Laxman are nt playing. He is the obvious choice. What is so confusing. Tendulkar has been the captain of the team. He has the best cricketing brain.

I think Dravid's days as the captain is numbered. He is a great batsman but he is not strong enough to handle the two jobs successfully. India needs an aggressive captain who can intimidate the opponents by some quick and even radical decisions. In the third match Dravid was so timid that he was player for a draw rather winning the match. Maybe the selectors also saw that he is too defensive even as a captain and therefore he brought back Sachin to be the vice captain. I think it's a right decision.

it is not so
Sachin by nature is a cricketer of great spirit and enthusiasm.
And it will bring new confidence and boost* in Indian squad.
