If not, then fine and thanks. But if yes, really? Even once a week is bad for you? Whenever I hear people say "kfc is bad for you", I always wonder, if it is really that bad then how come so many people eat there everyday?

I love friend chicken and have the better option of Popeyes Chicken which actually has some flavor compared to KFC and I limit it to about once ever 6 weeks.

Eating any kind of fried food once a week isn't going to kill you.

But if you get frenc fries one day, fried fish another, fried chicken another and fried egg rolls, and then eat potato chips or cheetos, etc each and every day of week it isn't good for you.

Fried food of any kind should be limited.

It depends on your lifestyle really!

If you're quite active and excercise enough, have no cholesterol or heart problems and generally eat healthily otherwise, you're fine with KFC once a week.

I think people eat there often only because they like eating it. I don't think most people think of the repurcussions of a high-cholesterol diet.

Ahah, I don't think there is a fast food restaurant out there that is actually good for you, but I'm pretty sure it is because of all the oil it's drenched in. If you think it's so bad for you, try making yourself some imitation KFC chicken. ;)

When we get KFC (MAYBE once a month) I take off the skin from the chicken to lose some of the fat from it. I just have one drumstick and maybe a breast, with one biscuit and some mashed potatoes. I wouldn't recommend it for a weekly meal, but once or twice a month is okay in my opinion.

I think that eating out at fast food joints once a week wouldn't hurt the body if this is balanced the rest of the week by eating a blanced diet. You can always take some antioxidants after the meal to reduce the impact if worried - Vitamin E (for the fats) and Vitamin C for non-fat oxidants.

Eating "battery" meat is bad for the soul though!

It depends. If your ordering an entire bucket of chicken, 4 family size sides, 12 biscuits, and a big tub of gravy just to go home and sit on front of the TV and eat it all by yourself, than yes, its bad.
If your taking it home to your family of 6, than enjoy!

Although eating anything high in fat is unhealthy, as long as you are practicing a healthy diet the rest of the week, I see no harm indulging in something that you enjoy once a week.

And, you know, my Grandfather's diet consisted of meal prepared "country-style" all of his life and he lived to the ripe old age of 94. Genealogy and maintaining a physically active lifestyle certainly are factors involved with this type of choice as well.

I dont think that once a week is bad for you, and since they stopped cooking in trans fat its even better. But when you do eat out try to eat as healthy as possible.

Can't be good for you especially if your adding sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese and biscuits. If your looking for healthy try boneless skinless grilled chicken and whole grain breads. Chicken skin is fatty and the adding breading
and then frying it ,e-e-eek! Does taste good though, but if your health conscious you should would limit your visits.
