Polls: Most of the world thinks the US is a greater threat to world peace than Iran. American opinions?

I really don't think that the world considers the US itself to be a threat, just the Administration.

Yes and many in the world considered Hitler no threat at all at one time. How did that turn out? If people equate action to liberate a people who lived under severe oppression a greater threat than a country who's madman of leader calls for the destruction of another state openly then I feel sorry for their delusional attitude. Hating America is a sport in the world and it will continue no matter actions we take, no matter what aid we send and nothing short of total appeasement will change this. The rest of the world has now decided they are right to meddle in our affairs, especially in a political sense. The hypocrisy is that they rant against us, but have absolutely no problem taking our money and exploiting our markets to their full advantage. Unless we have invaded their country or in some other way threatened their sovereignty they just need to mind their own business for a change and allow Americans to mind ours.

Poles can be and are biased on the way the question is asked. I don't believe for a second the results of those poles. Why would there be unanimous votes against Iran and North Korea in the U.N. ? The B.B.C. has its own agenda that is anti Bush, much like anything that comes out of the New York Times. Thank God our President can see through these political agenda driven medias. Even if it is true, why do they always ask for and get U.S. aid when they want it in greater amounts than any other country in the world ?

If the world sees US Administration as a bigger threat than Iran, and this surprises Americans, it is because the rest of the world is not subject to Zionist and corporate propaganda to the extent that the American public is. Consequently their picture of events and issues is a lot more realistic than Israeli and corporate sponsored news in US, so the rest of the world sees the lies and hypocrisy and doesn't support the "look-good" atrocities of Israeli/American mainstream media propaganda with which the American public is constantly fed.

this is a shame poll. they did not ask me. and look those people who said US more than Iran, they are either ignorants, islamists or insane. you know why. because Iran is a real threat, consider killing human is easy, if the human killed innocent, can sent to heaven. it is a religious monarch, they support targeting civilians, assasinations, bombing and they give fund to terrorists, they threat everywhere.
