your body weight has nothing to do with your height. you are still developing until the age of 18. always have calcium such as milk, cheese, yoghurt etc and get involved in sports such as basketball or just do skipping everyday. if you parents have passed on genes that would keep you the height you are, then you cant really do much about it. so dont worry about your weight and getting slim in order to get taller.

Becoming slim does not necessarily mean you'll get taller. Some people are just late bloomers especially the boys. Most of them grow taller at a later stage. And it also depends on your genes. If your mom and dad are tall and their relatives are tall then it's likely you'll get taller in time. But to be on the safe side play sports that stimulates your heel for growth, like playing basketball, tennis, volleyball or badminton. Take foods rich in calcium and iron. There are a lot of growth vitamins and supplements out in the market, or you could go see a doctor. Growth vitamins and supplements can only be taken by people 20 and below if I'm not mistaken. And contrary to popular belief normal height growth does not stop at 18 but at 21-22 years of age boys and girls.
New info: Watched this is the news last Saturday. A new study revealed that growth does not stop until the age of 25. I'll try to get more info on the stuff and post appropriate links if I find any.

You are still young. Normally your body stops maturing when you are about 18 years of age, so you still have a chance that in the next 3 years, you may become taller. By becoming slimmer you will not become taller, you will SEEM taller.
What you can do to look taller is where clothes that have vertical designs. That will definately give the impression that you are tall.

absolutely not!
the only way to aid your bod, in becoming taller is to eat well. poor nutrition can stunt growth.
if you are 15 i am not sure if that will do much even.
there are some incredibly painful surgical procedures that involve breaking bones, which are popular in parts of asia that have very short populations.
this is primarily a genetic things, and being thin, especially if you become slim unhealthily may make matters worse.

your 15 years old losing weight can be a bad idea as diets can throw off your inner body clock and any weight you do have is likely to be puppy fat when that is shed you may look taller but until then try being around younger or smaller people than yourself that will make you look taller... only joking just be happy, everybody has something about them selves they dont like just focus on the good things about you that you like and not the negative

What on earth made you think that being slim means being tall??
I'm 15 and I've the same prob, but I know that decreasing your waist size won't help. Try skipping or some stretching exercises
.....Slim doesn't even make you SEEM tall....I'm slim, still my frnds call me "chhutki", poor height and slender shape makes you looks like a doll (THAT'S TRUE).
.......and tall ppl don't let u play basketball wid them.(I've been thru it.........uuhh!!)
....Don't lose hope, still 3 yrs to spurt up.
