for "Mike S" reply:
You are completely and utterly wrong. When you say "afraid of" it is also referred to as "threatened." And that is what alot of homophobia is derived from, when a straight person feels threatened by homosexuals. Either they feel threatened, by a gay person coming on to them, by a gay person raping there child, by a gay ruining traditional marriage, and so on so on. And just because a meaning a thousand years ago (1920) doesnt mean it will have the same meaning now. A word is only as good as the way we use the meaning.

For Example: N-I-G-G-E-R was referred to as just being the color of someones skin, but as we know now it is a very offensive word, because of the way racist people uses it.

PS Mike S, the problem is that you dont want to seem homophobic, so you use other excuses of why you are not., as in PRETENDING that homophobic isnt even a word, give me a break.

It helps to have a quick wit. To come up with stuff to shut the person up and just keep walking on. You are not going to change how they think, mostly because they don't, so try to leave it behind, maybe the next generation will be a little smarter.

Maybe not so funny for you.
I live in Holland:The first rule in our law books states:Who is on Dutch soil shall be treated the same :despite their religion, race.or sexual preference.
And there is no discrimination allowed.
Maybe years ago this kind of thing could have happened.but no more.
Bigots and such were sentenced huge finds and hundreds of hours of community service.
They maybe want to be abusive:but they better think twice:they will be prosecuted.

I would either ignore them or call 911, I don't have to take that kind of abuse from anyone!

I must agreeily with Mike S. If people find us gayities "gross" or disgustingly so what. Fear of gays is just something old gay people made up. I am not feared due to my youngly and sexily gay wailys. I am hated or disliked or ignored or even bashed about by brutals. But since I am studly and jckily I can deal with it and so there I am big and tuffily so if you need my protections just ask me or tell some muscle guy to help protect your silly willy.
