Am not sure if it is the same song your looking for, but have heard the song and it was sung by the girl group "En Vogue" and this can be found on their "Best of En Vogue" Album. Which was released about 9-10 years ago.
Am sure that you would enjoy the song, the lyric I think are very appealing to all ages.

Runaway love is by Ludacris feat Mary j B go on to You tube search it there or maybe Singingfish.com has it. But your more likely to find in in yahoo music aka launch.com
