Im working for the organizers of Great Britain's LGBT History Month board which will be happening in February this year. In addition to that I'm helping my local history museum do an LGBT history installation with a timeline and finding artifacts like old leaflets and stuff.

Lots of time at local gay and lesbian community center, pride events, Political Action Committee, and crisis line as well as board positions for a couple of regional/national GLBT nonprofits over the years.
I think everyone should.

Yes I have.I have had several volunteer experiences in my life and when I was in college I served as an intern with a political action group that was centered around human rights and with the GLBT community as it's core mission.

I have done a bit. A few times I have gotten some grief from some gay men, but other times the gay men there have welcomed in and glad I was there to help.

Yes,I have helped out many years for people who were in their final stage in life because of their full blown Aids status.
Now there is hardly any help needed ,because of the medication available.
And that's a good thing.
