Zindane was awesome! but now Ronaldinho is best, hes got cool control of the ball....he sucked when he came up against Zindane though...

Zidane was a great player while he was active, but he is retired now. Ronaldinho is the great player NOW.
I think that Ronaldinho is a bit more skilled/talented, haters say he's just about tricks, Ronnie has his tricks but they are effective, ok? Zidane looked serious, and Ronnie is smiling all the time so haters confuse that with not being serious about football or being less intelligent, but it's not true.
Still, Zizou did more for his country so Rinaldinho has to step up for Brazil if he wants to be at the same level of greatness one day. He has that potential. We'll see.

Zidane is good leader and example (except for the headbutt) he revive the French team which in disaster in that time. Zidane really can show his worth when we see him play against big team (France vs brazil for example) he overshadow the existance of ronaldinho, ronaldo and robinho in the field.
While ronaldinho is very unqiue and special talent footballer, his skill is far beyond other player (maybe u can check touzani skills and compare it to ronaldinho) Ronaldinho also a saviour for his team, not brazil..but barcelona . He fast,agile and skillfull. He can score from any angle given.
But when u ask a great player, what do you mean by "great"? maybe u can specify alil bit more? Both of them have advantage from one and another, and when u ask great player..do u mean overall performance? speed? agility? ball control? Then i will go for zidane, but ronaldinho still young, he got time to prove he is better than zidane.

Zidane too. Not so much of a showboat, but when he does tricks, he does it with purpose. Just a shame he ended his career on a fit of rage.
