-1=4+r/-3
1=- (4+r/-3)
1=- 4- r/-3
1=- 4- r/-3
1 + 4 = - r/-3

again i have two interpretations and so i'll show u possible answers
a.) -1= (4 + r)/(-3)
(-1)(-3) = 4 + r by cross multiplication
3 = 4 + r
3 - 4 = r transposition
-1 = r
r = -1 symmetry
b.) -1 = 4 + (r/-3)
-1 -4 = r/-3
-5 = r/-3
(-5)(-3) = r
15 = r
r = 15

- = r / -15
r = 15
