My kids watched it for the first time when it was re run on ITV2 ( ? ) last year. They loved it, and thought the first series much better than the second - better 'Ray', fewer guns & less violence. I agree - I think it is one of the better TV shows to have come over the pond.

yep, its a great show, although I agree with another reader in that the first Ray (Vecchio) was better than the second and I felt that the final episode was abit of a let down as they seemed to try and cram everything into one shortish episode, Paul Gross was/is such a cutie as well as Deif of course, his dog/wolf. Would have been even funnier if they'd decided the two "Rays" were going to pair up and work together with Benton returning to Canada perhaps with Maggie.

Wasn't that the show with the Canadian Mounty and his "wolf" dog? OMG! Memories!! Yep, loved that show too. We don't get re-runs of it here though (in SA) and I last watched it over 15 years ago I guess.
