HELP!!! LOL My daughter is 7 months old and within the past month she slowly started to stay up longer and longer, until its like tonight......it's 5:00 A.M. and she still hasn't went down for the night. She went to sleep at about 12:15 but was up by 2...I've tried everything I haven't changed our routine at all, bath at about 8:30 every night her naps aren't extremely long, she usually takes 2-3 naps a day each about an hour long...im willing to try anything I don't know what to do I've tried everything to get her to sleep with no luck, I don't think I can handle much more of staying up like this, it wears me down and I don't feel like doing much of anything that needs to be done around the house..so if you have any suggestions please let me know!

When I want my son to go to sleep, I just take him to bed with us. It's dark, he nurses himself to sleep and then I put him in his crib, also in the dark without noise. He sleeps from about 11-6am this way,(Meanwhile, I'm up doing the housework until 3-4 b/c that's the only time I can get anything done!) I get in bed around 4 then we get up at about 6am when my husband goes to work, he eats, gets a changing, then we lay back down at about 8am and he'll sleep again til 11-11:30 with me. I'll sleep with him, because I know that when he's awake, he's awake for good and requires a LOT of attention and I don't get anything done until nighttime..lol

Make daytime extra fun & loud, keep the lights on;tv and stimulate activites for her such as toys. When it's about an hour before bedtime do the opposite;lights off,no tv,no sounds. It may take a little time but she'll soon realize that it's boring and want to sleep to get the fun that goes on during the day.

It happens alot with infants.Just try to keep her awake as much as possible in the daytime. Sleep when she sleeps. I know it is not always possible to sleep when a baby sleeps though. Try feeding her just before you want her to go to sleep. A warm bottle also may help.Stick to your routine she will eventually get used to it.
