Sisters, join me as we re-write the distorted "history" to the more appropriate "herstory" While on our journey, we will enjoy daily softball tournaments complete with trophies and a keg of beer. Are you with me, sisters?

Radical Feminism is how things got started! Our foresisters had to be radical (like hunger strikes) to be taken seriously. That being said . . .times are looking up. England has their first female beefeater, US has the first female Speaker of the House, 50% of medical students are women.

If you want to have a softball tournament, I'll come though as long as there is really beer! :)

Women's equality is certainly an honorable goal... but radical feminism may be questionable, and may cause society to work against your goals.
You also have to be prepared for the consequences of true equality -- it's not just being able to play softball and being able to drink beer. It's fighting (and dying) on the field in the infantry with your brothers and fathers. The current Iraq war has shown that the more women are involved with the modern military, the more women's casualties there will be.
These may be the most dire consequences, but don't be surprised when a man won't hold open a door for you anymore if you snap at him for doing so -- or if he won't tip his hat for you anymore.
Our country has come a long way from the time when women couldn't even vote, but it does still have a ways to go to achieve equality.

Stepping up feminism to you is about beer and softball and lying about the events of the past, ie changing history? Again, I dont think its going to get you what you want.

How would all you feminists feel if for every woman who was instated to the boardroom another was forced to work in a coal mine? If for every woman who was working in the political field another had to work in a field toiling under the hot sun doing hard labour? How would you feel if for every woman who was granted custody of her children, another lost custody to a father who was finally judged to be the better option as primary caregiver?

The first thing you have to do as feminist is admit what you really want and that isn't equality. Its all the good things we have, and then half or more of all the good things men have too. To gain the things you want you are going to have to sacrafice many things that society has deemed the rights of women already.

Argue what you will here but accept the fact that if your beliefs are true, that men are our oppressors, then they are the ones who will have to grant you what you want and do you REALLY believe, I mean seriously do you REALLY HONESTLY believe that treating men the way you do is the way to win their favour and respect and in return their backing to allow you into the feilds you deem to be theirs?

No, I will not join your feminist rampage but I WILL continue to fight for true, real and deserved equality among PEOPLE!!!!

Karma.

Of course a lot of women are turning anti feminist. Feminism is just a nice way to say, "woman go get a job". More and more women are waking up to the fact.

No thanks. You all need to be thrown in jail. You ruined the USA back in the 60s and your still doing it now. I'm already liberated and free because I'm a Muslim woman. And I wouldn't help you feminists at all. Men need to take control of this country.

Well, I'm not really a fan of softball. But I am a feminist. I think it's strange tat women tend to be so anti-feminism these dayd - as though we are all man-haters.
