wow! Deep!
First off, be grateful that you are alive. There are many people who have died today that wishes they could have what you now have.
Second, focus on the good things. What are the positive things in your life. I mean, honestly, you have friends and you have things that you are getting to do. Loads of people dont' have friends or money to go out and do things.
Third, you can't force yourself to be happy, but you can force yourself to think about happy things. Things that have made you happy in the past, happy memories, funny movies.
Fourth, if you are unhappy for a long period of time, then it becomes a habit and you will not be able to get out of that bad habit. It becomes a part of who you are and you will not know how to enjoy those happy moments even when you are standing slap dap in the middle of comedy hour.
I bet you are beautiful. I bet you are fun to be with. I bet you have great friends too.
When you are ready for him though, God can sure brighten the darkest days.
Best wishes!

I suffer from depression and have done for 18 years. Its a horrid illness and whether my life seems perfect, I am still depressed, its something that I just can't help! Its not about making life seem bad, depression is a proper, real illness that none of us sufferers want to have, a person with cancer doesn't ask for cancer and just like a cancer depression can eat away at you and make you very ill and can even kill you. I have over the years learnt to cope well with my symptoms and am better than I once was when I was in my teens and 20's and there are times when I am really happy, but, there is always an undercurrent of my illness that just prevents me from being or feeling truly happy. Unless you suffer from depression you will never understand what it feels like and I hope that you never get it. Unfortunately you are one of those naive people in this world - and there are many - who just don't understand this debilitating illness and will continue to think that depressed people can just 'snap out of it'!!!

Seems you are a bit tired and fed up - even of people, fun and your friends. Yes, it is possible. There might be something or somebody disturbing you in a way you are not willing to recognize. ihatephilcollins might be right. Take some days off, turn off you phone, look inside yourself a little bit. You are not obliged to enjoy every going out with your friends and there is nothing wrong if you find it boring and exhausting. You might need something else. Take a breath and relax.

my dr. gave me something called "maxalt" for my migrane headaches. I was really depressed because i was so busy with work, school and taking care of myself, my home and my kids..
I never get a break. Maxalt is great cuz it doenst make you drowsy but it takes care of the headache right away.... i dont know, it just helped me out a bit.
also, i just took some time away from friends. i left my cell phone off for a month, and also took a semester off from school. it was a cooling off period. it really helped.

Give a break to yourself. Weep , laugh and do whatever you want for few days. Don't take life too seriously....

The way to be happy is to make God the center of your life. Without him, you are nothing! Happiness also comes from joy we bring to others... (",)
