I don't think he is stupid at all. He is after all a graduate of two fine universities.
However I do believe he has a world view that is quite difficult for most Europeans to understand. Certainly in Britain his Christian faith and patriotism would appear extreme. And his apparent belief that the 'John Wayne' mentality is the best way to advance his country's interests strikes me as naive.
But remember. GWB could not have done much of what he has without the support of the Senate, Congress and the votes of the US electorate.
I think if anything GWB's fatal flaw is rather like Tony Blair's. He is a man with conviction. Once he has decided on a path he single mindedly sets out to achieve his goals.
Certainly at the moment the evidence suggests that a bit more doubt and caution would have been better qualities in a President. But time will tell.

If you think GWB is stupid, then you are making a shallow crass judgement, based on dumbed down propaganda from anti bush campaigners & media - they dumb down the GWB image so that people like you can form an opinion.
No one gets to GWB position by being stupid.
I don't agree with GWB and do not agree with many of his policies, but to dismiss the man as stupid is frankly pathetic.

He might be stupid or irrational but in the end he is the most powerful man & is running a nation where everybody desires to be in.he isn't that stupid relative to his contenders who lost the elections twice in a row even after he being despised by the entire USA for his actions and policies against Iraq.

No but he is close. What you need is a good articulate speaker someone like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Tito, Mussolini or Franco. The left and Europeans could never discern a good leader because if he can speak well the put him in command.

LOL it would be the most stupid disguise if it was, think about it, he probably has the best PR and team to prepare him for his public appearances but he still makes a complete t.i.t out of himself and makes his country look even more stupid than it is. He is dumb as!

No he is not stupid.
He is a money hungry, cold hearted, uncaring, person who doesn't give a holy crap what the consequence's of his actions are. He can go on his little merry way in 2 year's and the next president can spend his time in office cleaning up after him.

He isn't smart and he has high powered rich friends to bail him out of trouble i.e. the Bin Ladens.
Have you noticed certain people in very powerful positions are quite dumb... It's because they do what they are told and make out that they made the decision... Not good for them but good for the people who make the decisions.
P.s. All of the oil company's he had anything to do with went t*ts up and he was bailed out of trouble... He isn't good at anything... He's just very lucky.

He is smart.
To start with you need to be smart to get in White House.
It seems that his plans are not working or he attaked IRAQ for no reason.
I guess he doesnt even want any plan to work. And well he made many of his friends billions who will take good care of him once he is done with presidency. So he has taken care of himself..
