I believe the 73-0 anwer given above is correct.
After that game, Redskin (i.e. Losing) QB Sammy Baugh was asked what he thought the score would have been if the Redskins had scored first.
Baugh's answer: 73 to 7.
For their last couple of touchdowns, the Bears were also asked by the officials to pass for the extra point rather than kick, as a number of footballs had been lost going into the stands on extra-point kicks.

Most combined points in a game is 113. The redskins beat the giants 72 to 41 (in 1966 I think).
