I love to chew ice...it is a direct sign of an iron defiency...look it up...I am spot on serious.

I always chew the ice at the bottom of the glass, when I finish a drink, but I don't specifically go and get a cube from the freezer! Maybe I should try it if we have a hot summer this year!...

You don't chew ice , you break and grind it and your teeth have to be strong enough if it is a big chunk! Your teeth must be warned especially if your cube is very... cold!
