Present your birth certificates for the marriage which is valid in UK if all the requirements are valid both in US and UK laws.

We are based in London and got married in Vegas in September. There is no residence requirement to get married there - just turn up at the Marriage Licence Bureau with $55 cash and your passports. You can then pick up your licence on the spot and get married in any of the 70+ chapels in town.

A Vegas marriage is legally binding worldwide. Your minister has 10 days to register the marriage with the Clark County Recorder and you can then send $10 (along with a form you're given at the time you get your wedding licence) to get a copy of your marriage certificate.

You don't need to register the marriage when you get back to the UK - but if you're changing your name, you obviously need to contact banks, Inland Revenue etc. Also, if you're changing your name, just make sure your passport name matches the relevant ticket.

Good luck!

i lately attended a wedding ceremony on the Strip and that i grow to be truly pleased with how issues were prepared by using the bride. She hosted the marriage social gathering at MGM grand which blanketed a honeymoon suite for the evening. The travelers were roomed on the Luxor and the NYNY (both lodges at lower than $one hundred and fifty in accordance to evening) - This allowed freedom for the bride to social gathering with the girls for a good bachelorette social gathering and vise-versa for the lads. the marriage travelers were no longer intimidated by using the cost of both inn and were grateful for the options fairly than the "ought to stay" attitude. The bride and groom stayed on the MGM Grand the evening of the amenities, and the subsequent day met up with some thing else of the gang for a very last brunch, some travelers stayed longer some went abode - I regrettably stay right here - so i did not get the prospect to adventure it first hand, yet from what I heard by skill of the 4 days, all were very pleased with the arrangements.

Why are you asking people on here? Do you really want to f*** up the biggest day of your life?

Get in touch with the professionals where you are getting married and do it properly or your beloved won't be your beloved much longer and you will have the time (on your own) to repent at leisure...

well generally marriages are not bound to countries, but your gov. might not accept your marriage as legally bound if you have a satanic marriage
