You know what I'm on about - that ridiculous advertisement. They can probably hear it across the channel.
CILLIT BANG MAN - I AM NOT DEAF - KINDLY CEASE SCREAMING AT ME THROUGH THE TV. You are giving me a major headache and a phobia of cleaning products.
Thankyou. Anyone with me on this?

I know he's called Barry Scott (it's not exactly as if one can avoid hearing it!), but thanks anyway. :-)

I'm sure he's a lovely bloke. I'm not insulting him personally. Anyway, nice or not, the fact is that I am not deaf so don't need screaming at - although I probably will develop hearing problems if I hear that ad once more.

Actually, I am deaf...totally in one ear and partly in the other, and I do use a hearing aid and also have a loop system at home.....even though I turn it down when the adverts come on because they are all so loud, when this advert comes on I have to turn it down even further as it is so loud that it hurts my ear!
I would never buy the product either, it has such a ridiculous name...

I agree is that the most annoying ad ever?? perchance that ought to of been the question. Begs the question that if the product is that greatr why do you want to shout about it? someone ought to tell him that speaking louder does not make you sound smarter!!

I remember Barry Scot when he used to have a DIY programme and he was just the same then. It makes me laugh to hear him.

Unfortunately, he's a liar. He's not Barry Scott at all but an actor called Neil Burgess. He starred in a music video for former Westlife moron Braib McFadden. Dunno if he shouted at McFadden like he does on TV, but I sure hope so.

yup i agree entirely!
it is the most annoying advert ever!
is the idea that women are so stupid that they need a man to shout at them to persuade them to buy this product?
or is it cleaning stuff for men?
it puts me off cos i'm scared of getting the shouting malaise!!
one tip:- they might sell more if it was given a better name!
