I would go to Lebanon. I had a really sweet and wonderful friend, Tamara, in Junior high. She spoke Arabic and was beautiful inside and out. I would love to go there (when it's not all violent) and learn about their culture.
Then, of course, there's Egypt. I would spend, at least, 3 years there just researching Ancient Egyptian culture. Then an additional 2 years to study Modern Egyptian culture; truly a fascinating place!

In a flash, I'd go to China...I would go there anyway, except it wouldn't be fair to my husband (I'm gay canadian) because he doesn't speak the language (I still struggle with it myself--but I have been studying it for about 10 years--so I can manage quite well--except in reading and (mostly writing characters).
