They all seem so miserable because it rains everyday and the sun sets at 3:30pm and they are all pasty and white and unattractive (no offences) and have to go overseas just to find good things like sun, beaches and snow.

If i were English, i would escape to somewhere like California or Australia

"There's nothing sweet like home." It's status symbol to be called Englander. In other countries no hitech available as in England. And to pack-up is costly. With regards to weather, all parts of the world is undergoing disaster. Where will they prefer to go?

Because my dear, that is where they where born. And most importantly for them is Home. Just like where ever you are from is home to you.

they are preserving their heritage of english
after all english came from england. if they abandon their home country, they will be jeered by other countries for not having loyalty to their motherland.

after all...let them stay where they are. it's there land, their everything. who cares if they abandon or stay in that country..
