Why do people wear dresses?

Tell me why do people wear dresses? I mean, they can stay in the nude, can't they?

Dresses make people feel like they are dressed up and ready to have a good time! People wear dresses, well lets say girls/ladies wear dresses because that is a type of clothing for females. It is just like men wear suits:)
People are not nude because it is not publically accepted on the streets. If you want to see someone nude then go into the mens change room of a Gym, and then you can see whatever things you want, but I think that people should wear dresses because it is nice and decent and covers up what YOU SHOULD NOT BE SEEING unless you are her husband of course, and then it should be kept private between the two of you!

1. Wearing dress make a person look beautiful. In the past, man was not talented so they cannot make any clothing and had to stay naked. Now in the present, technology is so advanced and man are intelligent enough to make clothing to cover themselves. As you see, now days most of them wearing clothing with patterns and some fashionable designs. But actually, they can wear just plain colored clothing. But why still man wear clothing with patterns and some fashionable designs is too attract other's attention.

Basically to protect against climatic conditions. The aborigins do not wear anything. There are nudist camps and beach resorts. If all the people decide not to wear anything then there is no problem. If some prefer to stady nude then they can do so in privacy If there is public exhibition then there will be law and order problem in most of the civilised countries.

1. at the moment cute little summer dresses are in fashion (if you living in australia)
2. they are alot cooler in the summer

its a wierd thing to ask.. think rationally dear,, is the climate/temprature suitable for our body?? it rains, it snows, the temp in desert is over 50 degrees and in some places its less than 0 degrees! over a period of time v humans have lost body hair or fur, v no longer can survive the nature just in our naked skin! thats the reason y v wear clothes.. and wat v wear as in a dress or saree or kimono or wat ever depends on the regional culture and personal choice!!
