Not sure why, but certainly not all mature-aged people.
Just like wine, some of us get better with age.

While there may be some old queens that are chasing after the younger stuff, I know of many older gay men that are happy with their age and are unimpressed with younger men. Maybe it is the younger guys who feel that since they aren't getting the attention they want from older men that the older men must be bitter or cynical.

I've never noticed, but maybe because there's a difference in behavior? The social climate seems to have changed and gays are more socially accepted now than they were then, so perhaps it's out of jealousy that they treat younger gay men this way?

They do? I must be hanging out in a different kind of circle. To me it seems like all the 'mature-aged' gay men are dating the younger gay men.

Never noticed those types. I guess I'm to happy and having a good time to care or notice those not wanting to be like me. Life is to short to "dance with ugly men," so to speak, as the saying goes. And those not wanting to have a great time are indeed, ugly.
Why all the questions that come across negative at your age?

We don't all..My partner and I refer to them as boxes (BOQ's) Bitchy Old Queens.. That said it is sometimes a little difficult for men my age (57) because younger guys tend to think that we all lust after them...not true. There's nothing wrong with younger guys..we just prefer guys our own age.

Because gays are in reality women but thinly veiled as men. Women are bitter and jealous and evil creatures so gay men get old and are the same way. All old people are bitter and gross - especially gay men. (old means like after 55 yrs)
