As much as i hate to say it...i think so...the Pats are peaking at the right time, they have the GREATEST playoff QB ever in Tom Brady, a crafty coach in Bill Belichek, and one hell of a defense. Quietly this defense has been a top 5 defense, and with Belichek at the helm of a great defense and then Brady running the offense behind a hell of a rushing attack, i think they will pull it out...LT is one of the best RB's of all-time already and he's leaving his mark, but they picked a bad year to be a great team. Rivers is to inexperienced and this is the biggest game of his young career, you cannot shut LT down but they will contain him and then force the young Rivers into to many mistakes that will end up costing them the game. A balanced running game featuring a passing game that can be just as deadly on the other end will pull out a great game IMO. The only thing im worried about is the fact SD is 8-0 at home this season, but the Pats counter that by being 7-1 on the road.

Pats pull it out 23 - 17

Bill Bellicek will use the same game plan that he used against The Steelers when Big Ben was a rookie......He will stack the line of scrimmage in BOTH the 3-4 and 4-3 Defenses to stop the run and confuse Rivers, then force him to throw the ball, which you don't want to do with a QB with very little experience

NOTE: The NFL playoffs is a faster game than ANY regular season game, and EVERY play is magnified like a sample under an Electron Microscope

I think that the Chargers are too good and at home so my answer is NO. I think that the Patriots have had a great run and I may be saying this because I want to see them get eliminated...but honestly, I think that this year the Chargers have what it takes to win it all....Great Defense and a Great Running game...

I don't think it will be close. The Patriots will be under a lot of pressure from San Diego. Problem is the Offense folds under to much strain. I forsee a strong first half but during the third quarter SD will be walking the ball to the endzone.

They'll come very close, but a field goal with no time will give SD the victory.
