It was actually The Police, the group that Sting was a part of. I think they did it the best. I've heard a mixed version of Diddy and Police version. That was hot.

I like PUFF DADDY(he was puff daddy at the time...)'s version, but I think the Police did the best... I just love the original soo much better. Me saying Puff Daddy would be like saying Marilyn Manson did a better job on Sweet Dreams. OI.....

Most times the original is better, not always, but I would say so in this case.

Personally I like both versions........and if you listen closely to PDiddy's version its completely different than the Police's version
