If you were asked what is a thesis statement and someone answered it a thesis statement declares where you stand on a subject. It declares the subject as who, what, when.where and how, how would you respond to the answer?

Well, maybe that thesis statement is the "statement of the problem" because you cannot make a thesis without any problem to discuss as its contents. First select the topic you like best. Then create a problem to solve either hypothetically or theoretically. Oh, you better seek the help of your thesis adviser.
