I think a natural attraction towards each other can be a contributory factor towards a good match.

Whether in love or friendship, we get drawn to each other on the principle of the path of least Resistance, like the river flows downward. This does not necessarily make the two suitably complementary to each other, even as they may be reasonably compatible with each other. Therefore, I do not believe that natural attraction can be the only basis to choose the ideal match.

More importantly though, the ideal match does not happen right in the beginning... it gets made over a period of time through matured compromises on both sides. This process is helped to an extent if the two have a natural attraction towards each other. That is how it contributes to the making of an ideal match.

It's in our nature to be drawn to one another. When it's physical , be it love or friendship, yes I do believe we tend to be drawn to others who are more compatible or one who have qualities similar to you .
Difference is sometimes unconsciously sometimes its us who choose what it is that ultimately draws us to each other or someone.

yes- i believe that friends and lovers are our soulmates. they are guides that lead you through this life to give you joy and for you to give them joy. i could not exist with out the friends i have aquired in my life. and though not all of them will stay, they will be replaced by a new guide. some friends and lovers are here to help you reach a certain point. sometimes that point is after death, sometimes its in a month or even a day.
