Good question.... quite tough one..... and I am not satisfied with the answers posted so far, even though you have chosen to post this question twice. My view is as follows:

Both nature and attitude are partly in-born through genes and inheritance.... but they get refined and changed as the individual grows in life based on circumstances and experience. Moreover, both are studied and understood by others based on the person's reactions and behavior.

The main difference is that nature relates to emotional response whereas attitude relates to the philosophical response. Attitudinal behavior is governed by the person's philosophical outlook which directs his logical processes in a particular way or direction. Natural behavior is governed by the emotional personality of the individual.

The biggest twist comes in those cases where people have developed a habit of never yielding to their emotions.... such people are never understood as good natured.... because even their good-natured actions are seen as decisions based on a logical weighing of pros and cons.

When we talk about Human Nature, we refer to the habits common in every human being. But the attitude is distinguished and varies in each human being. You can advise someone to change his or her attitude, whatever the reason might be. But you cannot demand to change human nature.

Human nature and his attitude are mostly used synonymously but they are different from one another. Nature is a wider term as compared to attitude. One's attitude may be a part of his nature. Attitude is one's reaction to a particular situation, particular person or particular thing, etc. We may have different attitudes at different times. Nature is stable as compared to attitude.

I'll take a crack at that one: Human nature is how we behave independent of the group whereas attitude is a collection of behaviours we exhibit as a result of being part of that group. How does that sound?
