That all depends. In my opinion there are 3 factors. First of all look around you. If everyone is doing what you are doing then it's probbaly the right thing. Second look at your conscience. If your conscience is telling you that you are doing the right thing then you probably are even more likely doing the right thing. Now if what everyone is doing does not line of with what your conscience is telling you. That is when you should do more anaylizing. Make a list of the pros and cons. Rank each pro and con in value of importance from 1-5. Add up all the numbers on each side. Which ever side has the highest number is probbaly what you should be doing.

Don't react in anger. Keep your temper, and listen to their point of view. It may be a misunderstanding. If punishment is due, be certain that it fits the "crime".

People don't listen when you're yelling at them. Another way to tell them is calmly. Would you want to be yelled at?
