You've pretty much answered your own question.

Think about the nature of the job. For example, if it's an admin job with lots of detail you could say, "Well I'm a real stickler for detail - I'm aware of it so I do watch out when I don't need to be pedantic but if something needs to be accurate I won't let it go until it's perfect"

Or you could say "well, time management wasn't always something that came naturally to me so I guess that is one of my natural weaknesses but I have lots of personal systems in place which means I'm probably more organised than some people who don't need to think about time management!"

Never give them your worts and all - it's always best to pick something that you can put a positive spin on to put you in the best light. They'll like your resourcefulness in your answers too.

The best answer to this question it seems in an interview for a job is, "I put pressure on myself to excel...so I am not truly happy until I am the best at what I do." or "I'm a consultant minded problem solver, so I am a tad obsessive about making a business work more efficiently. If I see something out of joint, I don't worry about offending people, I shoot straight and give my opinion. So, I guess...if subtlety is best, I will have to work on that."

"Fast Cars and Fast Women" works if the guy obviously has a sports car...or looks like a player.

"I don't have an off button, so I can burn out if I get focused on a project for an extended period...and you don't remind me to go home for a rest every now and again."

or, if you are trying to shift the burden to them wanting to earn you as an employee...

say, "I have this quirk...I only work for companies that are ready for me to succeed, so I have walked away from lucrative offers, because the systems in place were not conducive to cultivate my success. [Switch gears at this point...and push the deal with...] Would you say this company is committed to making sure its new hire's succeed?"

If you practice these lines you will find a new world opens up for you.

Good luck.

This is best answered honestly. There are many things you could say though like...

"I'm a bit of a perfectionist, although I strive accomplish things with perfection, I have found that sometimes good enough is better than perfect when it comes to efficiency."

But use something that is real to you or if the interviewer starts probing you may be left hanging without an answer.
