Why shoould not we stop the system of pension to MP/MLA. The said fund can be utilised for developmental work?

A govt. servant is eligible for pension after a service of more or less 20 yrs. Here only after 3 years' period MP/MLA is eligible for pension.How can we judge a person for his/her service of 3 yrs. to the nation/state. It should be opposed for mobilisation of fund which can be diverted for many developmental work.

I agree with your opinion, and also now a days these people have made these posts as an income source. For example, we have seen some MP'S taking money for getting some issues in front of the house. Apart from this they have been allotted so much funds for developing their constituencies in which they are utilising most of them for themselves. And also they have more quotas in getting some business activities from government(ex.petrol pumps, Ration shops etc.,). So we can make out a demand to stop these people, a
pension policy.

absolutely right.i must say that also all MP/MLA must be responsible their seat.if no development work or any wrong activity found,they should be punished.these politicians had not done any good thing in last 60 yrs for country.
i suggest that in india,dictetorship is right way.bcause people is doing well but ploiticians making it worst. throwout all bloddy politicians.otherwise they will bankrupt this beautiful nation.

Keep asking this question for another 100 years. Your pension was decided by them and if they want they can stop it.

pensions can be granted depending upon a persons dedication towards his people.it shouldnt be granted to those who have allready filled their pockets well.

our politicians are like looters. those free loaders are money & power hungry. even governors & president has nothing to do. they don't deserve pension any way.
