all the liquid seems to be wet other than mercury.wet is the word and they are spelled when liquid are poured or forced to drop on them

every liquid is wet atleast at the INITIAL STAGE.as water is a liquid ; hence it is wet.

because it's moisture.
when something else is wet it's because it has a higher percentage of moisture.
water is 100% moisture

...that is allowed to water by most of the substances eg.lipophillic substances..(attached another forces)
