If by course you mean major, just go into your Dean's office and tell him or her that you want to make a change. You'll probably want to speak with your academic advisor first to look at how your current classes will transfer, if it adds any more time before you can graduate, etc. Just have yourself together before you go to the Dean's office, and if you need help planning, get it from your advisor or professors in the area you want to switch into.

Unless you're at a really small school you wont even have to come in contact with your dean. There should be an administration office for your particular school of education; business(finance, management, economics, etc...), psychology, biology, education, and so on and through them there should be an extremely simple form you would fill out to change your major. I attend the University of Central Florida and was a general business administration major and just recently changed to a management track within the business department. There was a one-page form I downloaded though the business school's website(within UCF's website), I printed it up and filled it out, and then I faxed it to the department's fax number and my major change was approved withing the week. Now, it was approved so quickly because I stayed within the department and they already had my info. If you want to shift from Psych to Business(or vice-versa) then there are most likely pre requisites that you have not met and you will need to do those before you can get accepted into the program.

I may be way off due to your question being a little vague but if you need any other general information please feel free to e-mail through Yahoo! Answers.
